The SME growth subsidy is a subsidy instrument with which SMEs and liberal professions who want to realize a strategic growth leap can purchase advice or recruit additional staff to, for example, roll out a new strategy, explore new markets or launch new products.
In the Flemish recovery plan, clear policy choices were made to make the leap to the economy of the future. Digitization and sustainability are two important elements in this, which have now also been translated into the framework of the SME growth subsidy. You can read more about it on this VLAIO page.
Companies can submit a dossier if their growth trajectory aligns with one of these policy priorities in the 3 calls.
REQUIREMENTS TO MEET?
- Call 1: From 01/03/2021 to 30/04/2021 with themes of internationalization, digitization.
- Call 2: from 01/07/2021 to 31/08/2021 with themes: internationalization, digitization, sustainable and circular entrepreneurship.
- Call 3: from 01/11/2021 to 31/12/2021 with themes: internationalization, digitization, sustainable and circular entrepreneurship, innovation.
Both 50% of the gross wage costs of the new internal recruitment with a maximum of 25K and 50% of the cost of the external service provider(s) with a maximum of 25K can be supported.
