Are you a company based in Limburg and will you soon be starting an innovation project in which there is a close cross-over collaboration with another company or companies? Or are you a company just starting a collaboration with a Limburg-based company to realise an innovative project?
WHAT AND HOW?
In order to encourage Limburg-based SMEs (European definition) to realise an innovation project together with other companies, the province of Limburg grants a subsidy of maximum € 50,000 to collaborating companies. This allows these companies (minimum 2) to apply for a subsidy to research, develop or test innovative techniques, materials, concepts, processes and services.
All Limburg-based SMEs can benefit from the subsidy when:
- they act on behalf of a consortium of at least two companies.
- the consortium wants to research, develop or test an innovative idea to develop an innovative product, process, service or market approach that has a positive impact on its own business operations and on the Flemish market.
The innovation projects can include research activities, (such as data collection, feasibility study, developing concepts, ...) but must always include a component with concept validation and development (such as testing and adjusting concepts, prototyping, pilots, demonstrations, ...) with a view to its shift in the economic activities of the participating companies.
What do you need to know?
Aid amounts
The subsidy amount is a maximum of 50% of the costs actually incurred for the innovation project, with a maximum of EUR 50,000.00 per application.
Specific points of interest
- Application must be submitted before project launch
- The applicant must be an SME (European definition), headquartered in the province of Limburg
- The support will be divided among the partners
- Submission by April 30 and October 30 at the latest of the current financial year
